Well, we’re not seeing endless praise of Ji Heng’s peach blossom eyes and immortal beauty, but we did get more than half a dozen sentences describing how compared to other handsome men, his beauty is still like heaven to their earth. Let’s not even talk about the distance between him and normal mortals. So….progress? Maybe? Heh heh.

What more than half a dozen sentences.
We had 6 longs paragraph just to tell us his appearance, compare him, and then everyone’s else reaction to his incredible beauty.
One more paragraph about no one daring to slight him.
Then 6 other paragraphs that didn’t mention him, but were like, half the size of the ml’s paragraphs. Including a one liner.
That’s like, more than half this part all to the ml doing nothing, just being pretty 😂😂
I’m just, so frigging happy it’s not the same as always descriptions.
I swear basically all Chinese ml look the same.
It’s always thin lips, peach blossoms eye, sword like eyebrows. And was it tall nose? Now I don’t remember.
They pretty much all come in the same package, sometimes with a bonus mole somewhere on their face, just so we can differentiate them 🤣

Oh, tall nose bridge! Sword eyebrows to give a valiant air! Yeah, I get bored by the repetitive descriptions sometimes. There are thousands of ways to describe how someone’s attractive, and it doesn’t even have to start or end at their face.
Well, the part about how no one dares to slight him, it talks about the power he wields, so at least it’s not about his beauty (I know, I know, very low bar there). Everyone’s reaction to his face is….well, at least it’s not endless repeat of peach blossom eyes, or skin like mutton fat jade. So….progress (sort of).
